Rising pop star, Kylie Cantrall, is gearing up for her first US headlining tour after the release of her highly anticipated second studio EP, Valley Girl Problems. Known for her roles as Dani in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and Red in the Descendants franchise, Cantrall is pulling back the curtain to reveal who the girl is behind the characters.

Making the EP wasn’t as simple as stepping into a recording studio. This was Cantrall's time to open up to her fans about some of her most vulnerable moment. What started as in-depth journal entries and candid phone calls spent venting to her team about her life became the foundation for Valley Girl Problems. Her conversation-like storytelling throughout her lyrics allows the listener to directly step into these specific moments of her life and experience the emotions first hand.

“With growing up in front of the camera…I look at everything very theatrically. I wanted [the EP] to feel chronological. I wanted to have those interludes that make it feel like an actual story,” Cantrall says.

Cantrall is excited to share these stories and emotions with her audience in a live setting as she prepares for tour this fall. After performing in arenas with her fellow co-stars in the Descendants/Zombies: Worlds Collide Tour last year, Cantrall is excited to be in intimate venues with her fans and experience the music together. As she prepares her setlist, Cantrall is excited to bring fan favorites like “Goodie Bag” and “Denim” back to the stage while introducing audiences to her newest tracks. She is especially looking forward to performing “Space Between,” her most vulnerable song to date, which explores the heartbreak of losing a best friend when a boy comes between them and the complicated fallout of breaking girl code. Though deeply personal to Cantrall, she knows the feeling is one many of her fans can relate to.

Kylie Cantrall is ready to step onto the stage and into a new chapter, leaving behind the heartbreak that inspired Valley Girl Problems while carrying the lessons it taught her both as a person and an artist. This is just the beginning for Cantrall and this tour is one you don’t want to miss! Click the link here to see Kylie Cantrall live in a city near you.
