At the recent °1824 press conference, GIRLSET proved that they’re more than ready for their next chapter. Even with Kendall absent due to illness, the remaining members carried the conversation with warmth and excitement as they reintroduced themselves and their latest single, “Commas”.

 As someone who has been following GIRLSET since their A2K show days, this comeback feels extremely meaningful. The group emphasized just how excited they were to finally release new music that feels authentically theirs after a long hiatus. The sense of ownership was clear in the way they spoke about “Commas”. This isn’t just a single, it’s the sound of GIRLSET stepping into their identity. When I asked how they hoped fans would feel about this new direction, the members were unanimous with their answer: “ With ‘Commas’ we want fans to share our excitement.” While no new music was teased during the conference, the focus on “Commas” highlighted just how important this track is as the foundation for their new sound and direction.

 Another highlight came when the group discussed their diversity and what it means to them. Camila spoke about how proud she was to represent her Latin heritage, sharing that she hopes young girls listening can look up to not only her but the group as a whole.
