Amber Mark - °1824 Press Conference

Amber Mark’s highly anticipated sophomore album, Pretty Idea, is set to be released on October 10, 2025, via Interscope Records. This follows her critically acclaimed masterpiece, Three Dimensions Deep, in 2022, which showcased her genre-bending abilities, infusing R&B, pop, dance, and funk. With Pretty Idea, Mark continues to push her artistry into exciting new directions, promising a body of work that is not only adventurous but emotionally powerful.

To give her fans a taste of what’s to come, Mark has released the lead single “Let me Love you”, a soulful track that showcases her evolving sound. I recently had the opportunity to ask Amber at a conference with °1824 what she wants to showcase to her fans as they listen to the album, and her response was amazing. “I think it’ll bring out different types of emotions for people,” Mark said. She goes on to describe the project as bittersweet, filled with a  “yacht rock” sound that blends nostalgia with her signature modern flair. Mark wants this album to be filled with songs that people can dance to but also cry to. During the press conference, I even got to hear an unreleased track, and let me just say I can’t wait for everyone to experience it as well. The song perfectly embodies what Amber described: a sound that is joyful yet introspective and unapologetically her.
