Jessica Healey is an Austin based folk, pop, and jazz musician who brings soul and pure amazement to the crowd the second she starts to sing. I first saw Jessica when she was opening up for another band at the Mohawk earlier this year and instantly fell in love with her vibe. Her voice is truly amazing and fits the genres that she plays so well.
Last weekend, she took the stage at one of Austin Garden’s many stages. She was accompanied that night by two other bands: Tobias Lund and Smooth Nature. Both bands had such a groovy sound, getting you up on your feet dancing and swaying.
Once Jessica was on stage I couldn’t wait to hear a couple of my favorite songs of hers like “Strange” and “Get with Me”. She also does an amazing cover of Put Your Records on By Corinne Bailey Rae. However, she just released a new single this month called “I Know You” and it was even better live than I imagined.
