Sarah Kinsley at °1824 Press Conference

Written by Kierra White

Sarah Kinsley continues to make music that feels like you're ascending into another realm. Her voice has the ability to not only lift you melodically but also emotionally as if each song is stretching towards a light that is just out of reach. There’s a beauty in how she builds up her arrangements from showcasing classical influences to structuring songs that feel cinematic without losing their intimacy. The balance in music she has created places her in a category with musicians who don't just write about their feelings but show them through the art they make instead.

With her 5th ep Fleeting scheduled to release on February 13th, Kinsley has made it known this will be a type of renovation from her previous work. Recently Kinsley also spoke up about the fact that every track we’ll get to hear is intentional. With songs that will be drowned by the elements that surround them by multiple layers and textures, this approach will give her music an extra sense of immersion. It feels like she is teasing an EP that will move more like a cinematic movie rather than the standard pop structure.

What makes this EP release special isn't just the new tracks but the promise of the musical beauty that is to come. After hearing ‘Lonely Touch’, it's clear Kinsley’s next chapter will be something big. Fleeting cannot arrive soon enough even if it is just 5 tracks it's going to be unforgettable.
