Indie-Rock Artist, Nodaway, Releases the Live Video for his Lead Single "Cali Waves"

Nashville-formed indie rock project Nodaway has returned after nearly a decade with 777 Seasons, a seven-track album released August 28. Written and produced by frontman Chris Jobe, the record blends retro rock, jazz influences, and soaring vocal melodies while exploring themes of healing, change, homesickness, escapism, and finding meaning amid uncertainty.
Recorded almost entirely live to tape at London’s Konk Studios, 777 Seasons embraces the spontaneity and imperfections of live performance. Each track is tied to an angel number, adding another layer of intention to a record centered on personal transformation and change.
Alongside the album, Nodaway has shared a live video for “Cali Waves,” filmed August 28 at London’s The Waiting Room during a sold-out show. The live performance captures the energy of the record in its most immediate form, reflecting Nodaway’s emphasis on live musicianship and the human imperfections at the heart of 777 Seasons.
After stepping away from music nearly a decade ago, Nodaway returns with a record rooted in personal reflection, live performance, and a new chapter for the project.
